Overview
Live Polling is a Data Node with no configuration. It returns the current percentage of clicks attributed to its Branch. The value is calculated at open time, so it reflects the moment the image is fetched.Behaviour
Content Editor connection
You add it in the Content Editor through Workflow → Live polling. The Live poll preset adds an image and a text component. The text component binds to the live percentage and appends a percent sign. This is a common pattern for live vote and poll visuals in email.See Data Nodes for the full Data Node catalogue.
Some email clients pre-fetch or cache images. The value can therefore reflect the fetch moment rather than the recipient’s manual open.
